Hazelnut Creamer Ingredients

To make hazelnut flavored coffee creamer you’ll need the following ingredients. You’ll find the specific quantities and steps are listed in the recipe card below.

hazelnut creamer ingredients labelled.
  • Heavy Cream And Whole Milk: The base for our creamer recipe. The whole milk gives the creamer a pouring consistency and the heavy cream adds a rich creamy texture.
  • Hazelnut Syrup: You can use commercial coffee syrup, but I recommend you make a batch of my homemade hazelnut syrup – it’s super easy to make and has a rich hazelnut flavor without the preservatives or chemical flavor!
  • Vanilla Extract: Gives a lovely depth of flavor to the creamer.
  • Cinnamon: Not an essential ingredient, but I like the warm, spiced flavor it adds to this creamer. If you don’t like the taste or look of cinnamon in creamer (as it doesn’t dissolve), then you don’t need to add.

Substitutions

  • Whole Milk: You can use half and half instead of milk if that is what you have on hand – it will be creamier than milk. You can also use low fat milk – but the texture will be slightly lighter and thinner than using whole milk.

How To Store Hazelnut Creamer

Store hazelnut coffee creamer in the fridge in a sealed airtight jug or jar for up to 7 days.

I don’t recommend freezing creamer as it doesn’t tend to have the same texture when defrosting.

Add this creamer to your every day hot, iced or cold brew coffee recipes for a lovely and easy hazelnut coffee drink.

It’s the perfect addition to blended drinks too. Simply swap out 1/4 cup of milk with this hazelnut creamer to add a rich and nutty flavor to your morning coffee smoothie or shake.

For a dessert option, add this creamer to your regular pancake mixture, drizzle over some of my homemade hazelnut syrup and the leftover candied hazelnuts. Yum!
