Cinnamon Creamer Ingredients
To make Cinnabon cinnamon roll flavored creamer you’ll need the following ingredients. You can find the specific quantities and steps in the recipe card below.

- Heavy cream: Cream is the base ingredient for this creamer and gives it a lovely richness.
- Milk: I use whole milk for this creamer to give it a pouring consistency and more creamy flavor.
- Brown sugar: For sweetness and creating a deep caramel-like flavor in the creamer mixture. Be sure to use brown sugar and not white granulated sugar.
- Cinnamon: The essential ingredient for cinnamon coffee creamer! I use ground cinnamon for a stronger cinnamon flavor.
- Vanilla extract: Vanilla gives a lovely depth of flavor to coffee creamers. Use the best quality extract you have on hand.
- Butter extract: To imitate the Cinnabon cinnamon rolls, I wanted to give this creamer a buttery flavor by adding a small amount of butter extract. It is optional – but does give the creamer that buttery cinnamon roll flavor!
- Salt: Helps balance the sweetness of the creamer. Just a small pinch of cooking salt is needed.
Substitutions
- Milk: If you want to try an extra creamy version of this recipe, substitute half and half for the milk.

How To Make Cinnamon Roll Coffee Creamer
Here’s a quick overview of how to make Cinnabon coffee creamer. For the full recipe and ingredient list, scroll down to the printable recipe card.
You will need a medium saucepan and a sealed creamer jar or pitcher to get started.
Step 1: Add the cream, milk, cinnamon, and brown sugar to a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk to combine and stir constantly until warm (around 3-5 minutes). Do not boil the mixture.
Remove from the heat and add the vanilla, butter extract (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.

Step 2: Leave to cool, then carefully transfer the creamer to a pitcher or jar with a lid.
Store sealed in the fridge for up to 1 week. Shake gently before using as the ingredients will settle in the jar.

Step 3: When ready to make cinnamon coffee, add 2-3 tablespoons (or more!) of cinnamon roll creamer to your hot or iced coffee drinks. Stir and enjoy.

Recipe Tips For Success
- Use newly purchased fresh cream and milk to extend the life of the creamer in the fridge.
- If adding butter extract, use a good quality product like the one recommended in the recipe card – for a more natural buttery flavor.
- Don’t boil the creamer ingredients – you simply want to warm them on the stove to allow the flavors to meld.
How To Store Homemade Coffee Creamer
This homemade creamer should be stored in a sealed jug or jar in the fridge for up to 1 week, depending on the best before date of your cream and milk.
Shake gently before using each time, as the contents will settle in the jar in the fridge.
I don’t recommend freezing this coffee creamer.
