Mason Jar Glasses
Ingredients
¾
cup
strong brewed coffee
½
cup
milk
¼
cup
chocolate syrup
½
teaspoon
vanilla extract
½
cup
ice cubes
Whipped cream
optional
chocolate syrup
extra, for topping
Instructions
Brew a batch of strong coffee (if you don't have cold coffee on hand) and set aside to cool before using.
Drizzle 1/2 of the chocolate syrup around the inside of your glass.
Add ice cubes to your glass, then add the cold coffee, cold milk, remaining chocolate syrup, and vanilla extract.
Stir well to combine all ingredients in the glass. Enjoy as is or add whipped cream and more chocolate syrup on top if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
If using espresso, pull a double shot and lengthen with water or milk to achieve the same volume as the brewed coffee.
Make sure you chill the coffee before using or it will melt your ice and dilute the drink very quickly.
Drizzling the chocolate on the inside of the glass is optional! You can just add the whole amount into the glass instead if you prefer.
Use commercial syrup or make your own
chocolate syrup
- it's very easy.
When making this drink ahead of time, do not add the ice. Make the drink without ice and add ice just before serving.
