soaked overnight and drained
1 ¼
cup
water
3
tablespoons
maple syrup
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
Pinch
salt
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to your blender and pulse until creamy and processed (around 6 minutes).
1 cup cashews, raw,
1 1/4 cup water,
3 tablespoons maple syrup,
1 teaspoon vanilla extract,
Pinch salt
Strain through a cheesecloth (if required - see note 1 below) to remove any remaining cashew pulp.
Pour into a jar or jug and store in the refrigerator.
Shake well before use.
Notes
With a high powered blender, you can skip the step to strain the cashews as it will blend the cashews to a fine grind.
Swap out the maple syrup and vanilla for your favorite flavors and endless combinations year round.
Store in the fridge for up to a week.
