Easy Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients
1 ¾

milk

pumpkin puree
fresh or canned

teaspoon
pumpkin pie spice

cup
heavy cream

vanilla extract

strong brewed coffee
Instructions
Pour the milk into a small saucepan over medium heat.
1 3/4 cups milk
Add the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice mix and stir to combine.
2 tablespoon pumpkin puree,
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Bring to a simmer and cook until fragrant, around 3 minutes. Do not let it boil.
Add heavy cream, vanilla extract and coffee and stir to combine.
1/4 cup heavy cream,
1 teaspoon vanilla extract,
1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
Keep on the heat until the mixture is warmed through (around 1 minute). Add sugar to taste if required.
Pour into two mugs, sprinkle with a little pumpkin pie spice mix (optional) and serve while hot.
Notes
You can use any kind of milk in this recipe. Almond, coconut and soy work well.
If not using heavy cream, simply increase the milk quantity to 2 cups.
Add sugar to taste at the end.
If using espresso coffee, pull 4 shots of espresso for 2 drinks.
